New beginning by Tusia Lech

Hello :)

Today is my first day at Zeus&Zoe blog as a designer and I have to say how happy and thrilled I am! Marivic, who is the owner of Zeus&Zoe etsy store, creates amazing kits for shabby and vintage lovers! There are so many inspiring and unique elements in each kit!! When I unpacked mine, I couldn't resist to start creating immediately! Thank you Marivic for inviting me to the team!

My first layout as a Zeus&Zoe DT member is about new beginning. Literally and figuratively. I just have started my new, great adventure here but there are many new beginnings around us all year. Days, months, seasons, strawberry season, school, job, love, friendship - everything begins. And I wanted to honour all happy beginnings in my life.

Almost everything, you see below, come from Zeus&Zoe kit handpicked by Marivic. I have added some shabby touch to a canvas star and a few buttons, applying some gesso on it.

Take a look at this beautiful, handmade flower, which was a part of Zeus&Zoe Kit Collection!

The whole composition is around the circle, which I draw in the central part of 7 Dots Studio paper. I used pencil, Gelatos and Caran D'Ache Neocolor crayons, which you can buy at Zeus&Zoe store. These are absolutely wonderful crayons, soft and easy to be applied and totally water-soluble. But if you prefer not to use water, they are also wonderful - give great coverage, vivid colors and wonderful texture.

Most elements was put on a foam squares, so to add the dimension. Final touch was adding some splatters with black Indian Ink and some stamping.

All flowers, except crocheted one, come from Manor House Value Pack available at Zeus&Zoe store.

Thank you for visiting our blog today!
