Mini Album Project by Rebecca

Hi Everyone,

Rebecca back again to show you a project created with Zeus and Zoe embellishments and a gorgeous Berry71Bleu tag. Today I felt like putting a small mini album together. I covered the album with Zeus and Zoe paper from my kit and decorated with a doily, metal hearts and a beautiful vintage bracelet. I usually over work my projects and keep adding and adding (and adding!!), today I kept it less cluttered as I just completely love all the embellishments and wanted to show case them.

Thank you for stopping by to look, I hope you have all had a happy and creative weekend, wishing you a fabulous week.

Old vintage bottle by Sandi

Hi everyone! Sandi here. So glad that you could stop by to see what we are up to at Zeus and Zoes! Today I'd like to share a vintage bottle that I decorated with the fabulous goodies in my kit. I took that gorgeous spread of vintage clustered flowers and added it to the bottle along with the vintage style key to dress up an old bottle that I had. Then I threw in a little bit of lavender springs, for a heavenly scent. I thought the old book page, from the kit, also makes for a lovely backdrop for my display.

If you would like to see some of Marivic's gorgeous kits, we invite you to visit the Zeus and zoe Etsy shop. ( I must warn you, the kits go fast).

Please stop back again soon for more inspiration and while you're here, why not pick up a free image and have some fun for yourself with it.

See you soon!
Hugs, Sandi

Jaz Altered Notebook Project

Hello once again my friends,

How has your month of May been? Mine has been good and lots of creating happening at home too.

I would like to share with you an altered notebook "Blossoms", which I have made with love for a friend. I can't stop drooling at the vintage collections that came in my kit and all the old and lovely postcards and birthday cards just make me swoon.

On the notebook, I am using a birthday card that has the original handwritting of the sender. I love it. It makes this altered book of mine special and I hope that my friend will like this gift too.

Thank you for dropping by and Have a lovely week ahead.

Love,

Announcing our new DT Coordinator and a couple of freebie

Hello everyone!

It's Marivic here..Sorry I haven't been around.

But I am here to announce our new addition to our Zeus and Zoe family.

Mitra....our DT Coordinator

One afternoon when I was little, I was sitting on our back steps in the hot sun, basking. The whole summer stretched in front of me and I was enjoying the warmth of the sun and the lack of school. I remember idly trying to remember what I had done the morning before. My brain was blank. I tried to recall earlier that day and again, it was blank. Panic struck at how easily memories could slip from my brain and be gone forever.

I promised myself that I would try to remember each and every moment of every day not realizing that it was an impossible task. I did achieve remembering that one moment of panic however when the concept of time and its passage struck home.

Scrapbooking for me is like a book mark in my brain and soothes that panic. One glance at some journaling or a few photos and I’ve slipped back to that time and can enjoy the essence of the day. You can’t recall every moment of course, that is impossible and also tedious.

I tend to scrapbook photos from recent activities so my journaling is fresh but I am also enjoying jumping back in time and making pages from when I was younger. One hopes they make their pages for the next generation, but really I have no way of knowing who will be looking at them. Certainly the photos and the journaling are for my two kids, Lexi (age 11) and Luke (age 9) to enjoy if they wish, but the journey to making the page is all for me.

OTP projects are very dear to my heart as well. Changing up something dreary and giving it a new face and voice are such a thrill! Even better if you can reuse something that normally would end up in the trash!

It’s the art of it all.

Blogging it takes it one step further and allows me to connect my art with the rest of the planet. Making pages and sharing them fulfills me in ways I never thought possible. I am overjoyed to start a new challenge by working with the DT Team at Berry71Bleu and Zeus & Zoe.

Mitra

Here is Mitra's project..A present for her mom on Mother's Day.

Mini book by Sandi

Hi everyone, Sandi here. Today I'd like to share a little mini book that I made using items from my wonderful Zeus and Zoe kit. I love mini's...I have a basket that I leave on the coffee table and put my mini's in them when they are completed...it's a great conversation piece and our company likes browsing through them. For this one, I used an old book page, an old ribbon, from one of the cards in the kit, buttons, lace, an old kodak frame, and other pp's, all from the kit.
